Beloved Kinney,
There’s an old hymn that resonates deeply in seasons of struggle: “O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.” Its words sing of unyielding grace: “O Love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee… I trace the rainbow through the rain, and feel the promise is not vain, that morn shall tearless be.”
Are you weary today? Does your heart ache with physical, emotional, or spiritual pain? Are you burdened by your own sin or wounded by the sins of others? The life of faith is not without trials, temptations, or storms. Some of you are enduring a tempest that feels unrelenting. Yet, in every season, God’s love holds you fast—a love that will not let you go.
Take a moment to rest in that truth. Can you glimpse the “rainbow” of God’s promises amid your storm? Remember Jesus, who lived sinlessly, died to atone for your sins, and rose victorious over death. By faith alone, you have been adopted as God’s sons and daughters, clothed in Christ’s righteousness, with access to the King of kings. And one day, as the hymn promises, a tearless morning will dawn. So, dear saints, press on!
Love,
Pastor Logan
