Looking Ahead to Sunday...
Preparing for Easter...
As we prepare to have more guests than normal this Sunday, make the following ways you can prepare…
May the Spirit of God move in the hearts of God’s people, such that, those who attend might fall on their faces and declare that God is really among them! (1 Cor 14:25).
- PRAY: May the Lord prepare the hearts of those who will come and may the gospel land on fertile soil.
- PARK FURTHER AWAY: Don’t take the best parking spot (unless you’re handicap or have little kids!). Consider even parking on the street!
- COME EARLY: Arrive at 10am for prayer and opportunity to greet visitors.
- GREET: Go up to visitors and introduce yourself. Ask them if they’re visiting. Tell them you’re glad they came. Show you’re interested in them.
- SIT CLOSER: Try to fill in the space toward the front so you can give visitors the opportunity to sit further back. (Unless you choose to sit with a visitor, which is a great idea too!)
- SING: Belt it! Sing out! Jesus is alive! Don’t hold back!
- INVITE: If you make a good connect with a visitor, consider inviting them to coffee sometime. And invite them come back to church.
May the Spirit of God move in the hearts of God’s people, such that, those who attend might fall on their faces and declare that God is really among them! (1 Cor 14:25).
