Kinney Kids Ministry

Children are a gift from God and it is our privilege to provide a safe environment that directs them toward the love of Jesus Christ. Our goal is come alongside the discipling work of parents to their children. We understand the profound influence parents have on their children and the design of God for parents to be the primary disciplers of their children, so our goal is not to replace the spiritual influence of parents on their children, but to assist and equip them in that work.

We offer a safe nursery environment for children (8 months through PreK) during the Sunday worship service (10:30am) and during our Sunday School hour (9:15am). In the nursery, preschoolers enjoy Bible stories, games, songs, and many other activities on Sunday mornings and are cared for by loving, nurturing teachers.

In addition to our adult Sunday School classes (9:15am), we offer a Kids’ Sunday School class for children, Nursery-Pre-K and K-5th grade.  

We value the safety of our children. Our Child Protection Policy is in place at Kinney to do just that: keep our children safe! Our policy includes running background checks for all caregivers, providing child protection training for all volunteers, keeping careful classroom adult to child ratios, and more.
